Gil Ron

Gil has been a member of the Barefoot Theatre Company since 2001 and of the Spanish Repertory Theatre since 2002.  His Barefoot Productions include “De Donde?”  “Does a Tiger Wear a Necktie?” “A Mother’s Love,” “North Shore Fish,”  “Dirty Talk,” “Dog Day Afternoon,” and “Raft of the Medusa.”  He has appeared in the following Spanish Repertory Productions: “Blood Wedding,” “The Feast of the Goat,” “Chronicle of a Death Foretold,” “O.K.”, and “Ana In the Tropics.” Gil recently directed an all-Latino staged reading of “A Streetcar Named Desire” and “27 Wagons Full of Cotton” as part of the Tennessee Williams Project. Other directing credits include East 3rd Production’s NYC Premier of “A Bicycle Country,” by Nilo Cruz. Gil is a recipient of the HOLA, ACE, and OOBR awards.
